1.) The message was that you should except yourself for the way you are and you should stop trying to fit in and and being like everybody else.

2.) I think it took like a Month or so.

3.) I liked all the dancing in the shows. I think the dancing was awesome and the songs they were dancing to were cool and young. What I didn't like was the way he made us get up and stand and clap all the time. I thought it was just too early for me. That's my thoughts any way.

  2. 1. The message was to be yourself and not let anyone stand in your way.
    2. I think it took an hour or more beforehand to prepare for this show.
    3. I liked how he sang some songs we knew and some we didn't. This gave us variety and new music. I also liked the interaction with the audience. In the end I think they talked to long and it got a bit boring. That is the only part I didn't like. Overall it was a good performance.

  3. If you see someone sitting by them selves you should ask them to come and sit with them and try to make their day and become friends with them. I think it took about a year to come up with all those songs. I liked how they were dancing. I didn't like the part when they said they were being bullied.

  4. 1. The message was to be yourself and not let people judge you. Be who you are no matter what. Don't bully people, treat others the way you want to be treated.

    2. I think it probably took about a month or longer Because, you have to get all the music ready make up the dances and find the outfits.

    3. I liked the music and how even if they didn't write the song they still changed it up a little bit to make it unique. I liked there dancing because it was unique and fun. I liked the way there outfits went together for each song. There was nothing I didn't like, the whole show was fun and entertaining.

  5. I think the message communicated was never give up on your self even if things are not going your way because if you push through it you will get stronger and that will benefit you. Also another message was that you are never alone even if you think you are.

Well for pre-show he said it took 1 hour and 30 minutes but to plan for the show, schedule for it, get prepare, and even write and produce the music, i think that would take a couple months.

The things i liked were how he brought a easy understanding message but also a very powerful message. I liked how the choreography related to the music too, it made you more interested in the show. Also i liked how the dancer communicated to the audience and the audience communicated back, it made the show more friendly. The only thing i did not like was how much they talked at the end, they kept repeating the same thing over and over again.

  6. 1. The message being communicated was to be yourself and not let other people bring you down, because you need to live your own life, not anyone elses. He also was saying that if your going through a hard time, you will make it because others have had that same experience and got through it.
    2. I think it takes about an hour and a half that day, but to put together a sound track, and choreograph all the moves, that could take a long time, like months.
    3. I liked the dance moves that they did, it was well put together with the songs. I didn't like that there were only 3 dancers, I wish there could have been more. The songs he picked were okay, but I think he could have done a better way of getting the message across instead of making it seem like there was an alien with him or something. Sure it was creative, but not very realistic. I bet he would have gotten the message through a bit better if he didn't do that.

  7. 1. The message that was being communicated was to be yourself and don't let anyone try to tell you different. If you be yourself you can accomplish so much more in life.

    2. I think it took at least 6 months to get the dancers in sync with each other and doing the correct dance moves. So I think it took approximately 8 months to get it all together and looking good.

    3. I really liked the music and the dancing. I liked how the dancers were always together, it looked really cool like that. I also liked how the whole show was based off of an alien. I did not like how there was the real song then he was also singing and at some points he just stopped singing, it just sounded kind of weird. I do not blame him because it was probably challenging to sing and dance at the same time, so that is probably why it was like that. Overall the show was fun and it was a lot better than sitting there and listening to someone talk.

  8. 1. The message that was being communicated was to be yourself and that you can do whatever you want no matter what people may say.
    2. I think it would take a few days to make a show like that to learn the choreography and to rehearse it a few times and to know the setup.
    3. I liked how it had songs that we knew and songs that were by him that we didn't know. I like that because it gives us the familiarity we like and it was good advertising for his songs. What I didn't like was how they did the dialogue with the alien behind the curtain. I think it would've been cool if it was on the stage where everyone could see it.

  9. 1. The message was to be yourself even if others don't like you , and to be nice to other people so someday they are nice to you...even if you aren't friends.

2.I think it took approximately 1 hour or 1 hour and a half to prepare that morning, but probably about a month or so to figure out the choreography and what songs they were going to do. But to write the songs it probably took about a month up to a couple months.

    3. What I liked about the show was what they wore and how they changed and didn't stay in the same clothes the whole time.I liked the choreography and what they talked to us and was relating to the audience . What I didn't like though was they could have done more songs and they could have had more background dancers to make it more interesting. Over all I liked the whole performance and everything they did was cool and interesting to watch and listen to.

  10. 1. The message being communicated was to be yourself and not let anyone tell you how to act or look like.

    2. It must have took him a long time to create a show. The show itself to make maybe was like 5 or 6 months but all the training to dance like that had to take years. He also had to work very hard to pull it off.

    3. In the show I liked all the dancing they did. It was very cool and it they were VERY good dancers. They also did a good job trying to get the audience to interact with the show. They did a good job mixing the show with the lesson they were trying to teach. I cant think of one thing they did bad. I thought they did a great job and I wouldn't mind seeing that show again.

  11. 1.The message that was being communicated was that it alright to stand out and be different then others and you should except yourself for who you are. You should also always try to treat others the way you would want to be treated because you never know what feelings that person may feel.

2.I think it took at least a couple of months to prepare for such a show. I feel this way because I used to be in dance for many years and for 1-3 dances, we rehearsed for 9 months.

    3. I really enjoyed the entire performance. I really have a true passion for dance and I feel as though the message that was portrayed may really give me that push I needed to go back to dance and keep pushing myself harder and harder. There was great song choices I think because I felt as though they were songs that the audience really could react to and were entertained. Really I don't feel as though there wasn't anything that I didn't like in the performance, I enjoyed every part of it. Someday I hope to give that message to others because I feel as though everyone deserves to be who they want to be with no problems from others. That is why I really enjoyed the show and would see it again anytime.

  12. The message was that don't be afraid to be different and to never give up in life, also to help people that others look down on, never give up in school especially if you want to do something with your life. I think that it took maybe 3 years hours to prepare for this show. I didn't like it because it wasn't my kind of music. I did like the dancing though I thought that it was cool and energetic. I liked how he had the recording of the voices that told us the message of this whole performance. I also liked how they interacted with the audience got us to listen and get into the mood. That is what I liked and disliked about the performance.

  13. The music is really awesome and the dance moves they want to show people to not to become shy. They want you to do anything that you want to do and be yourself. This is the lesson that everyone can do anything they want to do.

  14. 1.The message was to be you, and not someone your not. Also not to judge other people of who they are.

2.I think the dancing part took at least a month or two. The singing part took him, I think he said two years. Then before each show it takes him an hour to warm up to go on stage.

3.I liked how he put the message into well known songs and songs written by himself. I like the dancing part too, it works with the lyrics of each song and the message being told. I didn't like how there were only three dancers, I was expecting a bit more people to work with him. They did an excellent job, but I would have liked more people to understand that even more than just three people are judging him/anyone. I also liked how they didn't wear just normal day clothing, they gave you a rugged edge to the clothing; showing you that you don't have to wear what everyone else is wearing, be you.

The message being communicated was to just be yourself and not to worry about what others think of you.( I felt kinda bad for that guy, since he realized it after a really long time of being unhappy)

It probably took a bunch of time! they had to pick the songs and then make the choreography than practice the dance.

I didn't like how the the Jim guy told us life story.I mean I know that it was part of his message to be yourself and not care what others think of you,but he really didn't need to go on and ON about how his school life was awful and he couldn't be himself. If he was smart he would have realized it sooner and known that nobody really cares what you look like. Sure they will point and stare...but chances 2 minutes later there going to forget that you even walked past them. PLUS your not even going to see these people after high school...so why waste you energy trying to impress them. Because in the end youll be a happy person in the long run :)

  16. He told a few things how you shouldn't leave others out or you can make people happy. I think it would take four hours to make a show like that.

I liked that he told us about his hard life and even if your not the most popular you can still be what you want to be. i like that their girls and a boy dancing on stage!

    1. Don't bully people, if you see someone alone talk to them, don't stop reaching for your goals.
    2. 1 month to get to know what to say to the crowd, learn the choreography and know the lines to the song.
    3. Some things I did like was that it took some time up in school and mixed up songs with what they were trying to tell us that's all I really liked. What I didn't like was how the guy dressed skinny jeans are just weird but the hair and shoes were sweet another thing was the song song selection that really bothered me.

    1. The message being sent was that it is okay to be different. Everybody can help others and anyone can make friends just by being a friend.
2.I think it took a least a couple days to write and choreograph the songs. It probably took a hour or two to warm-up. It probably took a while to find a gym too.
    3. I liked that they expressed themselves in a nice way. I also like how they told how they started the dance group. I didn't like how they didn't dance for the different angles of the crowd's view. I liked how they expressed all of their feelings about doing this dance group. Overall they did a great job dancing and "expressing" the lesson we can learn.

3.What I liked about the performance was that we could be loud and didn't have to stay still the whole time. I liked how he connected a message to the show. They kept repeating what they were doing and it got annoying. I didn't like their skinny jeans, they got to weird looking for me. They should have changed costumes between songs. They really didn't, they just kept taking off a layer of shirts. The last thing I disliked was that instead of trying to show a message, they kind of just said it at the end. They explained their child hoods but didn't really give any advice. Also I really did not like how he kept trying to promote his business to a bunch of middle schoolers. 2. I think it took them 3 months and practice everyday to get everything down.
    3. I like how we got out of class and we got to listen to songs we know. I didn't like the whole robot alien thing I thought that was stupid. I also didn't like how the guy told us his whole life story he could of just got to the point. He told us like 5 times how he works out every morning and that got annoying. 31. 1.) The message that was being communicated was be your own person. Do what you want and don't let anyone tell you that your cloths are ugly, or that your hair is stupid. Do what you want and don't let anyone get in the way! They also talked about doing what you want to do, and believing in yourself. Because if you don't believe in yourself then you won't be happy in life.

  32. I think the main message he was trying to communicate to us was be your self don't try to be someone that you are not. For example if you are from the country and your just a redneck with no style take pride in it, if you are unique and are different embrace it take pride in it be yourself not someone else. I would like to think it does not take that much time, I mean there wasn't even a set and not much of a costume, and probably not any make up. I would like to think it would take 2 and 1/2 hours at the most. I enjoyed it, I'm not really in to the whole new style music and dance but ya know I appreciate any one who would take on working hard to per pare for that kind of show because I'm sure they had to go through coreography and all that kind of stuff, so I'm not that self-ish and ungreatful for something like that even if I may not have liked it. And another thing I kind of realized about the message trying to be communicated was don't be a bully to those who are unique, you should embrace it too, because there are alot of people in this world who are afraid to be unique. In many ways I thought the main dancer/ singer was weird, cause really who wants to die they're hair red with a weird design??? Maybe I'm old fashioned but that guy was weird, and I think he lip synced alot! Chad Romans 7th hour 04-12-11

I thought that making the crowd clap and interact with them was really exciting because instead of just watching you got to dance and clap along with them. 3. What I liked about the show what that it was supporting the anti-bullying and some of the songs that he sang and the choreography was really good and somewhat went to the song that he was singing at the time. What I didn't really like about the show is how the stuff was kind of techno and in some of the different dances, they repeated some of the moves/choreography in those other dances. I also didn't like how he would refer to himself as jimlinehan.com.

Do what you want and don't let anyone get in the way! They also talked about doing what you want to do, and believing in yourself. Because if you don't believe in yourself then you won't be happy in life.

2.) I think it probably took them a couple of months to prepare. They had to make up all of the dance moves, and make the album. They put a lot of time and effort into that show for us!

3.) What i liked about the show was they made it fun for us. I really appreciate the work, time, and effort into this show! what i didn't like so much about it was that he was singing over other voices. like the Katy Perry song was not my favorite because he was singing over a girl voice.

  44. 1. The message was to Follow your dreams.
    2. I am guessing 45 minuets, or an hour.
    3. The whole time, I didn't like it because I hate dancing. I never was interested in the whole idea of dancers coming to perform. Plus all the songs they did I didn't like, because I do not like that type of music. The only part I liked was the part were you stand up, and leave to go back to class.

  45. 1. What message was being communicated?
I think Jim was trying to tell us that you don't have to worry about what other people think about yourself and what you want to do for a living.
    2. How much time do you think it took to prepare for such a show?
    4 months
    3. Write approximately 1 paragraph on what you liked and did not like.
I liked basically everything. I thought it was interesting to watch. But at first I thought what is this and what does this have to do with school.
Then when he started explaining I understood. I did not like the alien talk because I did not get why he put that in that show. I did not the way the song switch. But I liked the group they seemed well talented. And they came all the way from New York.

  46. The message was to never give up on your dreams because if you keep working on them you can do it. I think it took a few days because they needed to practice those dance moves and make everything. I liked it when they were singing and dancing because they were really awesome and I thought it was exhilarating and fascinating . I didn't like it when they would always talk to the alien and talk about life lessons and stuff like that.

  47. 1. I think the message of the show was that everyone can do what they want if they can try hard.
2.I think for the preparation for the show would take about a month just to get the lyrics and the dance moves for all of the show.
3.I liked the part were they got involved with the crowd because I thought it was kinda funny and cool.

  48. 1.) I think that the message that he tried to communicate was that even though he had a hard time when he was younger, he didn't care what people thought after a while. Telling us that we should just be ourselves, don't change to be like everyone else even if you are portrayed as 'Different' to them. You can get any where in life if you work hard at it, anything is the limit depending on what your reaching for.

2.) Well, to prepare for the show for that day, I would have to say a few hours. Depending on how you read the question, it could take about 10 months to get the money, to hire dancers, to choreograph the dances, record the music, find the music they wanted, get the tour set up, and to prepare EVERYTHING.

3.) I loved that they were teaching kids that its okay to be different and that not everything is easy in life. Things take time and hard work to do anything great with your life. The music that they picked that went with the dances and the message being told was amazing. i didn't really understand why they had to use aliens as a way to get things acrossed either.
